Swedish Relaxation & Stress Relief – Kneading, stroking, tapping, and shaking induces relaxation, relieve soreness and swelling, as well as promote rehabilitation.
Therapeutic Massage – You just don't feel right, but you're not sure what type of massage treatment your body needs. Together we will discover and decide which of the many modalities available would best suit your needs today. We will choose one or more of any of the following: Stress Relief & Relaxation Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Dolphin MPS, or CrasioSacral Therapy.
New Reiki Energy Healing Therapy - an energy healing modality wherein the Reiki Practitioner(s) places their hands directly on or just above the receiver while transferring or channeling Universal Source Energy (also referred to as Life Force Energy, Prana, Chi, etc.) to the receiver. The ultimate difference between Reiki and other healing touch modalities is that the Reiki attunements acquired by the Reiki Practitioner from a Reiki Master allow the healer to focus or channel energy into the person receiving it without draining the healer or absorbing the receiver's symptoms. One benefit of becoming a Reiki Practioner is that the Reiki practitioner receives as much healing as the healee does because they are channeling the energy through their own body. CranioSacral Therapy - Keep your clothes on for this one - a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as a professor of biomechanics. Using a soft touch that is generally no greater than 5 grams - about the weight of a nickel - practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
Himalayan Salt Stone Full Body Massage - a healing technique that uses smooth hot salt crystal massage stones to warm tissue, ground and balance the body's electromagnetic field, treat the central nervous system, and stimulate the meridians. The massage stones used are hand-carved salt crystals from an ancient primal sea beneath the Himalayan Mountains that gently soothe away stress, tension, and pollutants, bringing the mind, body, and spirit into balance.
Deep Tissue – Used to release chronic muscular tension in specific problem areas. Applied with greater pressure on deeper muscles than classic Swedish massage.
Sports/Athletic – Combination of kneading, passive stretching, and a range of deep-tissue motions designed to ease muscle strain and promote flexibility.
Trigger Point/Myofascial Release – Problem areas are located and treated with acupressure and highly interactive hold/release stretching to increase the fluidity of movement.
Reflexology – A unique method of using the thumb and fingers on reflex areas on the hands, feet, and ears to 1) relieve stress and tension; 2) improve circulation, and 3) improve nerve impulses to balance the body.
Prenatal/Delivery – Every expecting mother’s dream. Properly applied massage can safely aid in relaxation, benefits circulation, and soothe nerves for both mom and baby!
